Fair Oaks is a relatively averaged size town and is not too far from major cities, the mountains or the beaches. Growing up in Fair Oaks many times my dad and I would ride our bikes across the bridge pictured above. We called it the "Bumpy Bridge" , I'm not to sure what the official name is but that is what we call it in my family. Along this bridge they have walking trails that lead you to bluffs that over look the whole American River. This was always a favorite thing of mine to do because I felt like I could see everything. Another great thing that I love about Fair Oaks is that whenever I go into the grocery store for example, I run into people that I know all the time and the workers know me by name. Although Fair Oaks in comparison to other towns, is by no means a small town but it does have some feelings of one whenever you go out. I think one day I would like to comeback and raise a family of my own here.
